WELCOME TO DR. STUART KREISMAN'S BLOG

To My Former Patients, Friends, Family, and Anyone Else Who Comes Across This Site,

Many of you have recently asked what I plan on doing in my retirement, and have previously asked for more information and pictures from my travels. I am working on this website, drstuartkreisman.ca, intended to in part address both issues. It will likely go live in the fall. I have now been to over 100 countries, and will ultimately include past blogs and links to pictures on many of them, as well as on my new trips [Normandy, Brittany & Corsica is next!] as they occur. I will also include many of my past anti-tobacco OpEds and other works.

Any of you may contact me through this website. I would be thrilled to hear from you and find out about what is new in your lives. However, I must make it absolutely clear that, as I am no longer maintaining my license, I can not, and will not, answer any questions related to your personal medical matters.

Game Over, the Tobacco Industry has Won

This past January, right around the time when Canada’s tobacco settlement was being finalized, our country held its sadly necessary 49th annual aspirationally-named National Non-Smoking Week. Back in 1964, when the US Surgeon General, Luther Terry, released his report making crystal-clear the immense dangers of smoking, his intent was that the findings would lead to the end of the tobacco industry.
